Preparation for future research activity and professional work
The Polish Accreditation Committee confirmed that the curriculum of the undergraduate and graduate studies in psychology meets the evaluation criteria and adequately prepares students for research activity and professional work in the future. The educational model adopted in our institution takes into account the most effective models of teaching psychology, and its implementation allows students to gain high-level qualifications regardless of whether they opted for the full-time or weekend mode of study.
The faculty supports students wishing to participate in domestic and international exchange programs. It also helps them make connections with the social and academic environment which makes it considerably easier for future psychologists to gain their first professional experience.
Legal studies with a practical profile
The curriculum of our law degree program extends beyond the standard models of teaching law. What makes us stand out is, above all, the predominance of workshops over other types of classes, numerous case studies, moot court classes, as well as learning about legal argumentation, negotiation and mediation.
Owing to our modern curriculum and the opportunity to cooperate with a tutor who helps students choose the most appropriate study path, students receive practical preparation for their future legal professions (as an attorney, legal counsel, notary, bailiff, judge or prosecutor), as well as for work in the business, government and local administration sector, and even diplomacy.
Top legal professionals
Among many other top-ranking legal professionals, our future lawyers learn from professor Marek Piechowiak - a specialist in the philosophy of law and international and constitutional protection of human rights, professor Teresa Gardocka - an expert in the law on criminal procedure, and professor Piotr Herbowski who specialises in criminalistics.
