The exhibition featuring works by Aleksandra Płocka and Marcin Nader at SWPS University in Poznań presents a series of triptychs that combine photography, oil painting, and watercolor. Inspired by travels and the beauty of nature, the artists invite viewers to experience the world through the lens of light, color, and emotion.
Light. Color. Form
The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Aleksandra Płocka and Marcin Nader, two artists united by a fascination with nature and a constant search for beauty in everyday life. The display features triptychs composed of a photograph, an oil painting, and a watercolor—each interpreting a single motif through three artistic perspectives.
The series finds its roots in Marcin Nader’s photography, a diverse collection of images captured with traditional techniques and drone technology. Marcin took the photos during his numerous journeys—from expeditions to the Caucasus, Central Asia, and China to wanderings across Europe and his native region of Greater Poland. Their diversity—from classic landscapes to nocturnes and images verging on astrophotography—opened a space for a painterly dialogue.

Aleksandra Płocka translated these frames into oil and watercolor, revealing their emotions, atmospheres, and subtle color nuances. The result is a set of works that tell the story of the same place through three languages—light, color, and form.
Three Perspectives is an exhibition about resonance—about how the interplay of different techniques and temperaments can create harmony. It invites viewers to look at the world from multiple angles: through the lens of a camera, through the stroke of a brush, and through the heart.
