We are proud to announce that Zuzanna Kapciak, Ph.D. student from SWPS University, has been awarded a Ph.D. Prize during the European Sociological Association RN13 Interim Meeting 2025 in Ankara. She was recognized for her research and contributions to the field of sociology of families and intimate lives.
An exceptional academic distinction
During this year's ESA RN13 conference in Ankara, Zuzanna Kapciak from SWPS University took second place in the competition for the best single-authored doctoral presentation. Her speech focused on intergenerational relations in Polish transnational families in Germany.

ESA is one of the most important organizations in this field. The distinction itself is a result of my studies at SWPS University's Doctoral School and my collaboration with my advisor Paulina Pustułka, Ph.D. / Associate Professor at SWPS University. I hope it will also inspire other young researchers to boldly present their achievements internationally.
