Digital solutions and social entrepreneurship were the main topics of an international study seminar held on May 18–20, 2026, at our Interdisciplinary Faculty in Krakow. The event, organized as part of the educational initiatives of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA), brought together students from New Bulgarian University (NBU) in Sofia and SWPS University in Krakow.

The starting point for the joint work was a set of social enterprise concepts developed by SWPS University students as part of the Social Entrepreneurship Lab.
The international teams were tasked with designing and building digital solutions that could support the development of these initiatives and amplify their potential for social impact.
Despite the limited time and fast pace, three days of intensive group collaboration resulted in functional prototypes for three selected social projects:
- MindCross – a digital platform facilitating access to intercultural psychological support, aimed at migrants and refugees
- Conscious Collective – a tool promoting the idea of conscious fashion and supporting consumers in making responsible purchasing decisions
- Circular Marketplace – a digital trading platform supporting the circular economy and resource reuse
The event was part of the ERUA Social Entrepreneurship Lab project, which aims to foster entrepreneurship and co-create innovative solutions to contemporary social challenges.

The Potential of International Collaboration
This event demonstrated once again that combining expertise in social entrepreneurship, digital skills, and international cooperation makes it possible to create solutions with genuine potential to change the world for the better.
