Thanks to a new and free “My USWPS” app, our students now have all relevant information, such as class schedules, grades, ECTS credits, and the latest university news at their fingertips. The development of the app was funded by a PLN 400,000 grant from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), as part of the program supporting app development process and staff training.
Important information at the fingertips
These days, students always have their smartphones at hand to check messages or posts on social media at any time, so it is not surprising that more and more universities are introducing mobile apps to keep students informed. Recently, SWPS University has also launched its own student app.
“My USWPS” app has been developed in response to feedback voiced by the academic community in a survey carried out by the university. The app is easy to use and meets the needs of all students including those with special needs, as it follows the WCAG 2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The app is available in two language versions, Polish and English, making it user-friendly for international students.
App’s features
Now students can quickly check the following information:
- Class schedule – check the time, place, lecturer, and group assignment
