We are pleased to announce that SWPS University has become a member of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology (IZTECH). The Chamber consists of universities, research institutes, enterprises, and foundations that contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and the commercial implementation of innovative solutions.
We encourage innovations and design new technologies
The IZTECH’s Management recognized SWPS University’s achievements in carrying out innovative research and commercial projects in the area of new technology development.
Dr. Wojciech Karczewski, Rector’s Representative for International Cooperation and Director of SWPS University’s International Office, on behalf of the university, accepted the membership certificate from the Chairman of the Chamber Council, Professor Jerzy Buzek, member of European Parliament, former President of the European Parliament and former Polish Prime Minister.

Other members of IZTECH include, among others, the University of Warsaw, the University of Gdansk, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, the Medical University of Lodz, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and the Universities of Technology in Warsaw, Kielce, Krakow, Wroclaw, Lodz, Poznan, and Rzeszow.
Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology
The main goal of the Chamber is to promote the development of knowledge-based entrepreneurship and provide comprehensive support to its members in achieving commercial success.
IZTECH pursues its objectives by:
- assisting the Chamber Members in obtaining external sources of funding for their research and production, including government and European Union funds
- supporting the Chamber Members in obtaining national and foreign partners and investors
- promoting the use of scientific research results in the economy and entrepreneurship
- taking measures to expand cooperation between entrepreneurs and research and scientific institutions, and increase technology transfer
- providing support in the field of intellectual and industrial property protection, in particular in foreign legal systems
- providing expert opinions, studies, and analyses on the development of high-tech entrepreneurship
