Małgorzata Gamian-Wilk, Ph.D. / Associate Professor, psychologist at the Faculty of Psychology in Wrocław, SWPS University, is now a member of the board of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment (IAWBH). The organization brings together researchers and practitioners worldwide who specialize in preventing abusive behavior at work.
Advancing research on workplace bullying
Since its establishment in 2008, the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment has been focused on understanding and researching hostile behavior in professional environments. The organization, which now has more than 200 members from 30 countries, promotes evidence-based research on abusive behavior in the workplace and fosters global cooperation between academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of violence prevention. Every two years, IAWBH organizes a conference to discuss the latest findings and explore emerging challenges in this area.
Małgorzata Gamian-Wilk: a researcher in bullying and ostracism
Professor Małgorzata Gamian-Wilk has dedicated her career to studying the causes and effects of workplace abuse. Before her recent election to the IAWBH board, she actively contributed to the association’s work for many years. Professor Gamian-Wilk is also a member of the Polish Association of Social Psychology.
