How do our researchers fare among other scientists in Poland?
Professor John Nezlek ranks 49th among all other researchers from public and private research institutions in Poland, regardless of the discipline. Between 1975 and 2022, he authored or co-authored 147 publications. In the period from 1996 to 2021, his articles were cited more than 5,500 times by other researchers.
Professor Aleksandra Łuszczyńska, who published 169 papers between 2002 and 2022, is ranked at the position 101. Between 1996 and 2021, her publications were cited more than 6,000 times by other researchers.
Professor Bogdan Wojciszke, the author of 61 publications issued between 1987 and 2022, is ranked 277th. His papers were cited nearly 3,000 times.
However, among researchers from non-public research institutions in Poland, Professor Nezlek is ranked 2nd, Professor Łuszczyńska 3rd, and Professor Wojciszke 4th.
Among scientists from Poland whose primary or secondary discipline is social psychology, Professor Nezlek (primary discipline) is ranked first and Professor Łuszczyńska (secondary discipline) second, while Professor Wojciszke (primary discipline) ranks fourth. According to similar criteria, Prof. Aleksandra Łuszczyńska ranks first in the public health sub-field, which is her primary field of research.

The ranking is published by Stanford University, Elsevier Publishing, and SciTech Strategies and is considered to be the most prestigious of its kind worldwide. The ranking takes into consideration the number of citations, the Hirsch index, different authorship positions, and the citations to published articles ratio.
The data is presented in two separate lists. The first one covers the career-long output of all the ranked researchers, and information on citations gathered for the period from 1996 to 2021. The second one includes information on citations obtained during the 2021 calendar year. Both lists include scientists specializing in 22 disciplines and 174 sub-disciplines, from all over the world.
