About the JustMOBI project
JustMOBI is an innovative project funded by the Polish National Agency for the Erasmus+ program under Key Action 2. Its goal is to transform higher education curricula by introducing digital teaching methods that support a just, sustainable, and inclusive mobility transition.
All representatives of the consortium gathered in Warsaw: SWPS University (Poland, project coordinator), Fab Lab Barcelona (Spain), the University of Limerick (Ireland), Architektoniczki (Poland), and Rupprecht Consult (Germany).
Workshops for academic staff
One of the project's key components is a series of workshops for academic staff designed to strengthen institutional capacity in digital education, promote gender equality in STEM, and foster inclusive approaches to a just mobility transition through transnational collaboration.
Three days of intensive work in Warsaw in the second half of April were filled with lively discussions and the exchange of diverse perspectives and expertise. The goal was to lay the foundation for modern higher education curricula. The event brought together faculty members, practitioners, and external experts to explore how issues related to mobility, data, and inclusion can be integrated into higher education programs.

The workshops in Warsaw were designed as a highly interactive learning environment, combining presentations, discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative curriculum design sessions. They gave participants the opportunity to explore mobility from multiple perspectives—from urban planning and digital technologies to social inclusion and education. The third day focused on planning the project's next steps and strengthening the consortium's shared vision for the future.

The online workshop, held on June 2, 2026, was a continuation of the in-person meeting in Warsaw and focused on exploring innovative educational methods and sustainable, inclusive mobility. The program featured three expert sessions on distributed education, everyday cycling and micromobility, and behavioral change in the context of inclusive micromobility. Participants discussed the potential of digital technologies in creating open, distributed learning environments, analyzed the role of active forms of travel in designing sustainable cities, and explored how to more effectively integrate accessibility, inclusivity, and behavior change into educational programs.
A key element of the workshop was the interactive Curriculum Co-creation Session, organized in a World Café format. Working in rotating groups and using Miro boards, participants expanded on ideas developed during the workshops Warsaw. Together, they refined course content, discussed teaching methods, and explored ways to include digitalization, inclusion, and just mobility in higher education curricula. The session resulted in a set of recommendations, feedback, and practical proposals that will serve as the foundation for the continued development of the project's shared curriculum.
The in-person workshops in Warsaw and their online follow-up enabled the JustMOBI project partners to collaboratively develop the foundations of a modern curriculum addressing today's challenges related to digitalization, inclusion, and sustainable mobility. The outcomes mark an important milestone in achieving the project's objectives and will provide the basis for the continued development of innovative educational solutions.
